That’s interesting to know, I never really thought about how hard it may be to delete your profile and leave the site. Mostly whenever I begin to deviate from a site, I just stop going, eventually don’t update, and finally forget the password. If more people are beginning to leave facebook, then it’s staff are going to have to figure out a simplier way to delete profiles. I can’t see them wanting to answer endless emails of people wishing to delete their account.

I think soon facebook will be not be as popular as it is in todays world. I think it would be beneficial if there was an easier way to delete your account on facebook – for the people who wish to delete their account. One thing in particular I do not like about facebook is how people pretend to be other people and make accounts. I think there are a number of flaws on this program, but all in all it is free for the consumer to use, and you can tell the creaters put thought into creating it.

I use Facebook to keep in touch with friends, friends and it is great for looking up old school mates, colleagues from past jobs I have lost contact with. I have a bare minimum of information on it, and don’t put up anything I would consider sensitive. I am not worried about skeletons in my closet.
However, I also use it strictly in my own time, and get very tired indeed of constant spamming to add new applications I think this may be one of the factors in the drop-off rate, as the endless application nonsense gets extremely wearisome.
